Den här klockan markerar alla rätt rutorna. Kommer från ett märke med rik urtillverkningshistoria, det är en automatisk kronograf som också har 200 m vattentålighet.
Tissot PRC200 Sports Line Collection har en mängd olika klockor för en annan smak. Vill du ha den med läderrem? du har den, vill ha den i en gummirem? Du har det, vill ha det på ett armband, ja de har det. Du kommer inte ha så mycket problem att välja en oavsett om du gillar en sportig eller klassisk klocka.

Seiko är märket som introducerade den första Quartz-klockan på 1970-talet. Seiko SPC237P1 är en kvartskronograf. Den har en antydan av orange på en svart och silverfärgad urtavla/fodral. Till skillnad från de flesta kronografer kommer detta också med ett datumfönster vid klockan 12.

Seiko Recraft-serien är en retromodern lineup som är inspirerad av 70-talet. SSC667 och SSC669 är precis det, en autentisk kronograf från 70-talet. Det är en sällsynthet att den här klockan kommer på ett Nato-band från fabriken.
Urverket är en solkronograf i kvarts. Men en intressant sak att notera är att sekundvisaren faktiskt sveper som en automatisk klocka istället för att ticka.

Precis som Omalogato är varumärket Autodromo också dedikerat till kärleken till bilismen. Autodromo varumärke grundas av Bradley Prince, som också kommer från industriell designbakgrund.
Autodromos Ford GT Chronograph är verkligen spektakulär. Och om du vill ha något mer avslappnat, kolla in Autodromo Stradale-klocka som är inspirerad av instrumentbrädan från italienska sportberlinettas från slutet av 1950-talet och början av 1960-talet.

Den kommer i en låda som ser ut som en hjälm. De flesta av modellerna är i begränsad upplaga (4999 totala enheter). If you really want an automatic movement, then you’re only left with one option in the T-Race lineup.

Certina is a lesser know Swiss brand that’s even older than Rolex. It was founded in 1888 by the brothers Adolf and Alfred Kurth. Certina’s latest Sports collection has watches that embodies what chronograph should be all about.The watches in this collection has a different range of formality to it. You can have it subtle or have it in loud yellow colour. Most of the models use Quartz movement but we do get two automatic options.

Victorinox is a Swiss brand that originated in 1884 and quickly became expert in knife making, especially pocket knives. They transfer this metallurgical skill to watchmaking by manufacturing tough, high quality watches.
It’s available in 5 different styles but I really love the grey colour case with a rubber strap. It’s powered by a Quartz movement and comes in 44mm case size.
Established in 1892, Hamilton is also a purebred watch brand whose roots lies in USA. Hamilton made its name by supplying timepieces to US railroad when crucial infrastructure was getting built.
The Pan Europ line is a reiteration of the 70s Pan-Europ. Its 42mm case size is just about right to cater to a larger audience. Hamilton Pan-Europ uses H 30 automatic movement with day/date complications. Unlike all watches in this list, you don’t get a chronograph option with this one.

Christopher Ward is a relatively new British watch brand. It was only in 2005 when they launched their first watch. This brand aims to offer Swiss watch quality at a fractional price.
The C7 Rapide Chronograph is a good testament to this. Before Omalogato or Autodromo came along, this was the watch that spoke directly to the motorsport enthusiasts. This chronograph gets a Swiss-made Ronda 5021.D Quartz movement.

Straton is a modern Swiss-based watch brand that launched in 2015 with a Kickstarter campaign. This watch brand quickly got love from the fans, thanks to its strong resonance with retro motoring. This does not come as a surprise because the founder of Straton is passionate about classic cars, racing and watches. In fact, his lifestyle fully matches with the brand ethos.
Their first watch, Vintage Driver Chrono laid the foundation for this microbrand. Their latest offering Curve Chrono is also 70s inspired chronograph. Starting from the case design to dial colours, everything about it classy.
It comes in 5 style variation. Powering this watch is a Meca-Quartz Seiko movement. This is a hybrid movement with an accuracy of a quartz watch with sophistication of a mechanical chronograph.

Smart watches are mostly looked down upon by purists. Their main argument is that they lack character. But if you like the functionality of smart watches but still want it to feel good on your wrist, do checkout Huawei GT2 Porsche Design watch.
This watch is constructed using titanium body with ceramic case back, which we racing enthusiasts love. The screen has a Sapphire glass so you know it’s tough as nails.
This is a perfect retro-modern watch for someone who loves motorsport and world war 2 fighter planes. Just looking at the dial you’ll get the ethos of this watch without me telling you.
This is a classic chronograph watch that’s built to perform. The dial markings are big and clear. The watch comes on a hand-stitched leather strap that completes the look.
Seiko has lots of chronograph watches but this particular model is my personal favourite. It has all the elements to be a perfect racing watch.
This includes big pushers, carbon fibre finish dial with a touch of red accents on overall stealth look, and high-quality textured fibre strap.

Timekeeping is an important factor in Motor racing. Therefore racing watches have always been a big category in wristwatches. Several big brands like Rolex, Omega and Tag Huer are built due to their connection with racing. Rolex Daytona, Omega Speedmaster, and Tag Huer Carrera, Monaco and Autiva are icons of this category.

1) Chronograph: A chronograph is basically a stop watch. A chronograph dial has separate smaller independent dials to record second and minute. Some can even have separate dial for hour reading. It’s used to record short duration of time, for example, lap time of a racing car. At a push of a button, it can be started, stopped and reset.
2) High Contrast Dials: When a racing driver is driving a car at its limits on a racetrack, he should be able to read his watch as quick as possible. Therefore, an ideal racing watch should have big numbering and high contrast dials.
3) Tachymeter: A tachymeter equipped watch helps racing driver estimate the average speed over a certain distance. This works in cunjunture with Chronograph.
4) Angled Dial Orientation: Easy to read is a great functionality for a racing driver. And for the same reason when a driver has his hands on the steering wheel, an angled dial makes it easier to read. This is a great feature but it’s not a required feature.
5) Breathable &durable straps: Motor racing is a high-intensity sport and cockpit of a racing driver can get really hot, especially in summers. A lightweight and breathable strap is ideal for such a situation. In the initial days for racing its was only rally-style leather straps but latter on perforated rubber straps also got popular.
